The Issue
We are witnessing with growing alarm how corruption is becoming increasingly entrenched in our government, affecting the daily lives and future of our beloved Canada. This scourge is a threat to our next generations, and in the name of our faith and love for our neighbors, we cannot stand idly by. According to Transparency International, Canada has fallen on the Corruption Perceptions Index in recent years. According to data revealed by this organization, Canada ranked fifth among the 10 least corrupt countries in the world in 1995. Currently, our country's corruption has increased, dropping 10 places to 15th, further behind the most transparent countries. (Source: Transparency International).
This is a worrying indicator of the problem we are facing and is irrefutable proof that we must act now. We are calling on all Canadian citizens and residents to form a partnership against ongoing corruption. This partnership will be a call for transparency, accountability, and fairness in all areas of our public administration. For the sake of our country and future generations, we must raise our voices and make a change. This fight is personal for all of us, because the future of our home is at stake.
- What we seek
Authorities must be evaluated trough The GST leaf for stopping portraying themselves as public figures conducting political affairs, while political figures are working in public affairs. This dynamic often creates confusion and blurs the line between governance and service. Authorities should refocus their roles and become true employees serving the people, just like any other worker dedicated to fulfilling their duties with accountability and transparency. It’s time to prioritize public service over public image, ensuring that both authorities and politicians work collaboratively to address the real needs of the communities they represent. We need terminate the corruption.
